Refund & Cancellation Policy

Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to the Retail Partner Beta Pilot and any other paid services purchased from PalmNode Infratech Pvt. Ltd. through niev.in or our payment gateway partner. By making a payment for our Services, you agree to the terms set out below. We have tried to keep this policy simple and predictable so that merchants know exactly what to expect if a pilot does not work out for them.

Cancellation window

The 7-day cancellation window is counted from the date the payment was made, not from the date a terminal is delivered or installed. To cancel and request a refund, please email support@niev.in with your order or transaction reference number, and our team will guide you through the process. Please include your registered contact details in the email so we can verify your order quickly.

Refund eligibility

• If you cancel within 7 days of payment and before hardware installation has taken place, you are eligible for a full refund of the amount paid.
• If installation has already been completed at the time of cancellation, a deduction for installation cost may apply, and any hardware provided must be returned to us in good, working condition before a refund is issued.
• No refund will be issued after the 7-day window has passed, or once the 1-month software license period has begun to be used beyond the initial 7 days, since the license and setup effort have already been fully utilised at that point.

We assess each cancellation request individually based on the information provided, and we may ask for additional details, such as photographs of returned hardware, to process your request efficiently.

Non-refundable items

Transaction fees charged by our payment gateway partner and charges for any customised work performed at your request are non-refundable.

Failed or duplicate transactions

If a payment fails or is charged more than once due to a technical issue, the excess amount is typically auto-reversed by the payment gateway or your bank within 5-7 business days. If you do not see this reversal within that time, please contact our support team and we will help resolve it.
